Simple, authentic Italian food is what you’ll find at Bar ‘Cino in the St. Mary’s neighborhood. The menu focuses on quality — it’s one page for a reason — and presents a select set of stellar dishes with classic Italian ingredients (namely fig, lemon, mushrooms and white beans) sprinkled throughout each section. Standouts that are sure to pique your interest are lumache with lobster, fennel cream, garlic and herbed breadcrumbs; baked clams with butter, white wine, garlic, chilis, scallions, pomodoro sauce on crostini; and chianti braised beef short rib on top of evoo-mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. Inventive salads, five types of bruschetta, grilled pizza, seafood-heavy pasta and a few amount of shareable plates round out the offerings.
