A Conversation with University Trustee Jonathan Lavine and Professor Sunil Gulati

This past week, we hosted our spring scholarship event at the historic and beautiful Algonquin Club. The event drew over eighty alumni making it one of our most successful scholarship events. All ticket sales were put towards helping the Columbia Alumni Association of Boston Scholarship Fund make a financial aid scholarship award to an undergraduate student from New England.

We were honored to have university trustee Jonathan Lavine and the notable international economics professor Sunil Gulati share their insights on the world's current economic situation, the importance of need-blind admission and Columbia’s development of the Manhattanville campus. Our speakers kindly answered questions and attendees had the opportunity to enjoy wonderful conversation and libations.

We want to thank our distinguished speakers and attendees, and a special thank you to the Columbia University Alumni Association for sponsoring the event.
