Team Columbia and Team Penn-Columbia met last week in the battle of the Quaking Lions. Chris T led the offense for Team Columbia with 5 bombs, and the entire lineup consistently contributed with clutch singles and doubles. Larry tore it up on the base paths like a man who played varsity football in ’74 (Citation needed). Allison led the Lion defense with rock solid play at 3B, and key plays were made by Eggie, Chris, Greg. Team Penn-Columbia was led on offense by the Ben Bombers, with Ben B and Ben H consistently mashing balls to right and left respectively. Kyle swallowed every ball hit to center. But ultimately, Team Penn-Columbia last inning rally came short, with Team Columbia taking the win, 21-18.
