Thoreau's Trail: A Visit to the Walden Woods Project Library & Tour

Join us for a captivating excursion at the heart of Thoreau's legacy! Our event begins with an exclusive tour of rare items and books at the Walden Woods Project library, led by yours truly. Delve into the essence of Thoreau's writings and immerse yourself in the historical treasures on display.

Next, we embark on a guided tour led by Sarah Walker, the esteemed Director of Education at the Walden Woods Project. Choose between two enthralling journeys: a scenic stroll around the tranquil pond, delving into its geological and environmental significance intertwined with Thoreau's life and philosophy; or a captivating walk along Thoreau's path at Brister Freeman's hill, where you'll discover the life and legacy of Brister Freeman, a pivotal figure in Concord's history and a muse for Thoreau's literary work.

Both tours offer unique insights into Concord's rich heritage and Thoreau's enduring influence. With each walk lasting approximately an hour to an hour and a half, our entire adventure is tailored to span around 2 to 2.5 hours.

Don't miss this opportunity to explore Thoreau's world in an enriching and immersive experience. Reserve your spot today!
