Equipment will be provided by the captain/manager of respective teams, however if you would like to purchase equipment of your own, please ensure that the specifications are allowed for use in our league, as provided below.
1. Bats must meet all current USA Softball Association specifications for slow pitch softball. You may check if a specific bat is USA Approved here: https://www.usasoftball.com/certified-equipment/ Click on bats and scroll down in both windows (I did not provide the .pdf because approvals constantly change)!
2. A slow pitch softball bat has the following specifications: a 2.25 inch diameter barrel 15.5-16.5 inches in length, a total length no longer than 34 inches, and can weigh no more than 31 ounces. The bat can be single-wall or composite and must display a USA or ASA certification stamp.
3. A bat with a USSSA certification stamp and/or a 1.15 BPF or 1.20 BPF stamp may not be used in this league.
4. The bat with a 2000, 2004, or 2013 certification mark must not be included on the USA Softball Non-Approved bat list: https://usa.asasoftball.com/e/BB1P2000.asp
The rules are in place for player safety.
