Join us for an easy 2 hr hike around historic Walden Pond State Reservation in Concord!  A flat and easy hike for everyone, although no dogs allowed at this site.  Join us in exploring the home of famous American author, Henry David Thoreau.  It is a stunning place for forest and lake photos!  This weekend is forecast to be peak leaf colors for the fall season. 

• Where:  915 Walden St., Concord, MA 01742.  * Meet inside the front door of the Park Visitors Center. 
• When:  Saturday, October 24 @ 11 am (Depart for hike at 11.15 am).  Approx. 2 hr hike.
• Parking:  $8 for MA license plates, $30 for out of state license plates.  Free with a MA state reservation pass.
• How:  Bring water and snacks for yourself, warm clothes/jacket, and you may enjoy hiking boots more than tennis shoes.

After the hike, feel free to enjoy the informative park visitors center, or gather for brunch in nearby historic Concord. 

If it is raining, the event will need to be canceled and we will not go hiking.  Looking forward to a sunny fall hike together!
